Project Manager, January 2006 - Present
Proficient at managing multiple concurrent projects, ranging in size from $100K to $8.2M and from 5 to 35 resources. Project experience includes ERP implementations, infrastructure upgrades, application development, business process development, quality management, and associate training programs. Currently responsible for delivering communication, cost, resource, scope, risk, schedule, quality, procurement, vendor, and integration management across all project phases.
Oracle E-Business Suite Implementation – $8.2M over 12 months
- Managed implementation of Oracle HRMS modules including: Base HR, Payroll, Advanced Benefits, iRecruitment, Performance Management, and Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
- Managed team of 35 implementation consultants and offshore development resources
- Responsible for resource planning, risk analysis, WBS, project plan development, cost tracking, project reporting, and client management
- Earned Perot Systems’ 2007 Unsung Hero Award for contribution to project’s success
Oracle Financial Reports Development – $250K over 7 months
- Evaluated Oracle Discoverer, Business Objects, Noetix, SQL, and Oracle Report Builder as possible solutions for providing financial users comprehensive reporting from Oracle GL and FA modules
- Prepared and delivered project proposal consisting of product selection, resource planning, cost analysis, and project objectives to senior leadership for approval
- Managed team of offshore developers in the delivery of 20+ reports for General Ledger, Fixed Asset, Property Tax, Income Tax, and Finance departments utilizing multiple tools
Radio Frequency (RF) Infrastructure Upgrades – $1.75M over 12 months
- Successfully upgraded RF handhelds and infrastructure at 16 distribution centers (DC)
- Developed process to evaluate, estimate and coordinate annual RF upgrades that resulted in significant cost savings and time efficiencies in comparison to previous years
- Coordinated with 32+ local vendors to complete cabling, electrical, and installation work at each DC
- Responsible for the procurement of proper RF and support equipment for each DC
- Finished project under budget, ahead of schedule, and with high customer satisfaction
ePedigree Prescription Drug Tracking – $500K over 5 months
- Developed electronic tracking system for prescription medical products in distribution centers
- Responsible for entire project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, project planning, application development, vendor management, testing, system implementation, and post production support
- Successfully met all regulatory requirements at the state and federal level in minimal time
Central Security Repository – $160K over 4 months
- Developed Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliant security repository using minimal resources and budget
- Integrated a diverse range of systems, including Human Resources (Ceridian), AP, AR, Order Management, and RACF to provide comprehensive security information upon request
- Project involved significant focus on system integration and schedule management
Wisdom2 Gold Contracts – $170K over 7 months
- Enhanced WISDOM2, a custom, award-winning, web-based, supply chain data analysis tool for enterprise wide purchasing and contract agreements
- Successfully managed second phase of multi-year project to further integrate WISDOM2 with Business Objects and enable greater savings for healthcare partners and customers
